definitely one of the sickest boats i've seen but it seems weird not to have much space for the ladies to "lounge" outside. I can only imagine the possibilities of what would go on in one of those things.

Those are renderings. Neither car nor boat actually exist.

Could you imagine the gas bill for that thing?

Still pretty amazing.

I saw this yacht in San Francisco a few years ago. It's called the Maltese Falcon and it's the largest (and one of the fastest) sailing yacht in the world, at 289 ft. It's for sale for $200 million, making it also the most expensive sailing yacht on earth. The guy had a Ferrari 599 GTB parked on the dock right beside it.

So absurdly sick.

I was bored at work last week and looking at yachts. It's amazing the money some people have. Crazy.

We were out on the bay 2 years back for fleet week. The Maltese Falcon came in under the GG bridge. Some wally got to close to it checking it out and crashed into the side of it with his boat. It was on the side in the picture in the front where your CF numbers would go on your wake boat. It would have been funny for the owner of the Maltese Falcon to come out after the crash in a Dart Vader outfit and Kill the guy and throw his headless body into the bay LOL

grant- could this have been the incident?

from wikipedia:

Accidents
The Maltese Falcon was involved in a collision on October 4, 2008 with a 40 ft (12 m) sloop whilst sailing in San Francisco Bay in support of the Leukemia Cup.[5][6]

I would poop in my pants if I ran into a 200million dollar yacht.

I assume the sails drop out of the horizontal "booms"? and the masts turn mechanically to adjust to the direction of the wind???

Insane.

Ahhhh just a man on the ocean, under the power of the wind, controlling his own destiny......with a crew of seven.
I grew up around boats and yachts. While these huge things are so amazing to look at and tour, I would never own one, even with that kind of money. Anything over 65 - 70' and you lose connection with the water. Just my opinion. Amazing nonetheless!!

I don't get that first boat. There is hardly any outside area. Isn't that why you are on a boat in the first place?
