Pro 60's wiring question

I have 4 wet sounds pro 60's that I am going to hang on my tower and I have a question about wiring the amp. I have an old school US Amps US-200 that is 1 Ohm stable that will send 260x2 RMS that I am wanting to run them with. Is it possible for me to wire the speakers up this way. I am assuming that will send about 130 watts RMS to each speaker. Just wandering if this would be OK to do. Any help would be appreciated.

if you spent the coin on the pro60s i would drop some coin for a good amp if you want to hear the full potential of the 60s, i run the wetsounds syn2 to my pair of pro 80s and a pair of pro60s. The syn2 puts out 300x2 at 2ohm stereo so each speaker is seeing 175watts. Just my 2cents.

There is no way to reach a stereo one-ohm load with four 4-ohm speakers. You can achieve a 2-ohm stereo or 4-ohm bridged load which is essentially the same thing.
Plus, there is a difference when running an inordinately low impedance load in an air conditioned hatchback or SUV versus a boat, especially in July and August. So I wouldn't run a one-ohm load regardless.
In any case, based on the rating that amplifier is light for two pair of HLCDs.

Speaking from experience with underpowered Pro 60's, make sure you have good power or you won't be happy with them at all. I ran a Kicker ZX200.2 on my Pro 60's for a couple of years and they sounded terrible. Finally moved up to a Kicker IX500.4 for them and I am running 250w X2 rms and they sound like completely different speakers. Just my $.02

Ok thanks for the replies. I guess I am going to have to go ahead and bite the bullet and get a new amp. I have heard that 150 RMS is about the minimum you want on them but what is the max RMS you can send to them without fear of blowing them. Also I am assuming that kicker, JL, and wet sounds amps are all good quality amps. It has been a long time since I have been into audio and it seems as if the quality in the brands have changed quite a bit from what they used to be back in the 90's. Thanks again

I am going to be running the Rockford Fosgate P500-2 amp purchased from Crutchfield for my pro80's. Haven't installed the system yet but my friend who helped me with my list of necessities said this would be a great amp that wouldn't break my bank.

Tower Speakers:

Is it better to have a 4 channel amp on the 4 speakers or just a more powerful 2 channel amp or does it matter. Also wandering if most people run their amps at 2 ohms to get more power or try to keep them at 4 ohms due to the heat. I was looking at a Kicker zx850.4 which is 174 x 4 at 4 ohms and 215 x 4 at 2 ohms and was curious if it would be better to do the 2 ohm to get more power or take the less power at 4 ohms to keep the heat down.

Most people run large 2 channel amps to 4 tower speakers.

What about cadence amps. Are they any good? Was looking at a 2 channel cadence zrs that will send 400 X 2 RMS. I am assuming that will send about 200 RMS to each of the four speakers. Just wandering if these amps are overrated on the power.

Cadence amps are usually under rated from what I have on the car stereo forums but I don't know how they do in a hot boat compartment. It seems like the best bet really is that Syn 2. Find a local dealer and you can probably get it for less than MSRP because I am guessing that is what is scaring you off. You could also look at the Arc Audio KS300.2. Kicker also has the new IX500.2 which might work.

Arc and syn amps have the same designer if I'm not mistaken
