I am having a house built in SA and will have a little money left over from the sale of my house here in Oregon.. Wondering since you guys have the Texas ski ranch there..should I spend the money on a nice pool or a wakeboard Boat? Im leaning toward the pool since the ski ranch is only 35-40 minutes away?

I live in New Braunfels: about a 10 minute drive from TSR. BUY THE BOAT! Thing that sucks about wakeboarding at TSR is that there is no wake on the cable, and to rent pull time behind their boat is very expensive.

I'll second the boat call. Get the boat...I think it's just so much better to have your own boat and to be able to do whatever you want to do at your own discretion. my .02

Dan! Are you nuts. Get the boat! That way I MAY come and visit! Remember, you are getting old, and that ski ranch will probably kick your butt. You will need something to wakesurf behind. Believe me, I know what I am talking about.

Boat for sure. What part of town are you building in? If you're on the North side you won't be too far from Canyon, McQueeney, or Medina lakes.

Daniel,

I live on Lake Dunlap in New Braunfels. We probably have the best water in the area on weekdays; its a river. I ride every Tuesday and Thursday evenings once daylight savings. I go to canyon every other weekend, but only to party in the cove. Once you are spoiled with butter twice a week on the river, riding on a lake just plain sucks!

Sorry, you are invited to ride with us anytime.

Dan--

Grab the boat, man. San Antonio is fortunate to be surrounded by several different lakes/rivers. Moreover, you're more than welcome to my pool whenever!

Peace be the journey.
