Ya. So what's the difference anyway. I know there is an extra layer of laminate on the Plat. I know this is supposed to make it last longer, and pop harder.

Is it worth the extra money, for someone like me, or is it for the people with an extra $150, that they don't need?

I do like the Plat graphics though.

.... I did decide NOT to buy a new snowboard, so I could spend my money on a new Marius..... HMMMMM

Ha, ha.... That's how I decide on my new boards. I got a foam Transcend this year because I thought it looked better than the plati.

BTW, the plati is a very different feeling board. It's more than the extra pound lighter. It's more the stiffness that factors in. They just feel more responsive. I dig the way the plati's ride, but..... I liked the foam graphics better, LOL.

Incidently, both the plati Marius and the foam version look killer. I like the carbon top sheet look on the plati.... but the white is smooth too. May I suggest the all white Deuce or limited edition Faction's with the non-plati.
