Anyway to get a 06 x2 under a 7 ft garage door? HELP!

head over to tmcowners. pretty sure it's been done. i was considering an 06+ X-2 earlier this year, but just couldn't swing it. there's some caveats to the angle of the driveway, which trailer, sa or da, etc. but again, i'm pretty sure it's doable. search for "X-2 garage" and you should get a couple good threads. my 03 X-2 (205V) fits in my 7ft garage (just shy of 83in with molding), but i have the angle of the driveway working for me and nothing on my tower folds back towards the stern. i have at least an inch and a half of clearance on a da trailer. good luck and let us know!

I can get my 08 through my 7ft door.
It is tight and on a tandum trailer.
Different tower mind you so I am not sure how much height difference there might be.
I do have a bit of an incline up my driveway into the garage as well. Also I do not have any speakers or lights on my tower (for clearance).
Hope this helps.

I doubt it...

My X1 does not even fit, I have to remove the tower from the pivot point and lay it down in the boat until I get it through the door, but it only takes about 5 min.

I will check for you but it will be very close
Just got a 06 X2 also, I had too dig a trench for the wheels to fit into so it would fit under my carport.
what trailer is it on?

cali,
not sure about the dual axle but a single won't fit under 7ft with tower folded down.

cheers

Attila is yours on a single axle? If so, check this out.http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/8/572529.html?1211078104

nice! that's hilarious. we have the exact same ceiling racks!

so hang a hook from the ceiling and tie up the tower with bungees so it doesn't rest on the vinyl.
