Has anyone put a fresh air exhaust on their boat. I have a mobius lsv with the wakeplate and am not sure if this would fit, and are they even worth the money or are there any other suggestions.

I just ordered one. The last couple times I've driven home from the lake I've had a bad headache. I know it's from wakesurfing and sitting in the back corner of the boat. Not so worried about myself as all the others that are now hooked and want to go wakesurfing with me. I got on Fresh Air Exhaust website, found their number and called them. Spoke to the owner at length...they are the same people that make TrickBoardz...so I know they have a vested interest in making the sport safer. He explained all of the measurements he needed and asked if I had a plate. I don't on my boat, but he said they make them all the time for boats that do. On their website they show how to measure and one of the photos shows measuring for a plate. Here's their info.

The exhaust is worth it, makes a huge difference. I have one on my Centurion V Drive. My boat has a wake plate on it and it fits fine.

Call Larry at Fresh Air Exhaust, he will hook you up.

We used it in the Wake Surf Jam a few weeks ago.
Many contestents noted that they never even smelled any fumes. That system rocks.
Get a hold of Larry at: www.freshairexhaust.com
or www.calabriaboats.com
They should be able to hook you guys up.
You will notice the difference.

I have enough trouble steering at idle without this thing hanging down. Did this effect anyones steering?

Reverse "walking" is affected a little that I have noticed, but trying to back a direct drive is a trick anyway, especially when you have it weighted to one side. Forward is no problem.
