The vid should work....You might try right-clicking the file and saving it to your computer first...the file size is pretty big and will take a long time to come up if you just click the link. Also you need quicktime to view it. Hope you enjoy the vid!

You need more quality footage to work with, a lot of that was so jumpy it was hard to watch, most of the well shot video looked good though. A lot of it was shot too far away for my taste but that's just my opinion as well. The FX like the flashs and the rider in reverse has been worked to death. I'd stay away from that kind of stuff, stick to cuts and simple dissolves. Your composition overall wasn't bad and the edits to the soundtrack were good as well although in the first vid I hate to see it end in the middle of a song (not that I haven't been guilty of that as well LOL) I think if you had more footage to work with and could get away from having to use that shaky stuff it would have been substantially better. I hope I'm not being too negative here. The timing and composition is the hardest part to get right and I think that was your strength here. Get more footage to work with next time and I'll bet the results will justify what I'm saying.

thanks guys, and rich, man you gotta remember, this isnt some high tech deal, we are just a couple joes with a cheap video cam, not to mention it is most of the time our wives videoing for us, and I dont know if you are married or not, but try telling you wife to hold the camera a little more steady and see how that goes. We are just lucky to talk them into holding the cam.. I appreciate your opinion, that is something we do need to work on, thanks for checkin it out bro, I will work on the dissolves and music issues, take it easy Cliff, I gotcha Bro.. the next will have it (Message edited by lyle on August 15, 2006)

Loved the video flyhigh. I would be proud to have made that, and I love the chase boat shots. Rich's suggestions are all valid, but in my opinion his work is professional, and like you said, we are just recording the fun we have on the water and wanting to share the joy. I say keep it up and let us know when Amp'd 3 comes around!

If I didn't think you guys were already on the right track and doing some nice work I wouldn't have bothered posting. Very nice looking website BTW as well. I hope you took my comments constructively and I will definitely check out your future offerings as well.

Very nice - really like the composition. Intro to riders, location and hunnies good. Good timing and mix of shots. I also agree with Rich about the shaky shots, would be better to toss a few of the worst ones and make it a bit shorter IMO.
