AZ Wakeboarders, how far would you drive to a cable park if we had one like TSR? I have been looking into possible sites and am looking for some rider feedback on this.

Mesa is supposed to have a wake park in that new water park thing. It's supposed to open 2010, but i doubt thats on schedule.

To answer your question, in reality I'd probably drive 1hr or so....sedona, casa grande, wickenburg, globe would be my day trip limits from phx.

Wow, that Waveland complex in Mesa looks pretty unreal. Just moved back from San Diego and wasn’t aware of it. On one hand it’s a blow to my entrepreneurial plans, on the other it would be great to have it so close.

I was looking at Eloy-Casa Grande and Tonopah.

I would drive 1.5 hours (2 max) and I think you mean Waveyard http://www.waveyard.com. i don't see how it could open in 2010 either. in either case, it's going to be real nice. hope they don't cancel the project...

Ryan, I had that bike a few years back. I think it was an 04. (was fuel inj) Get the powercommander and an exhaust...totally different bike w/ those mods. Throttle responce becomes instant and will pull roll on's through 3rd.

Great bike!

Someone also built one of these in the Casa Grande area but it never got off the ground, I think they called it the Big Boys Park or something like that. It had a drag strip, wake park, wave simulator and a bunch of other Adult guy stuff planned. I know they bought the land and dug the lakes out and installed the drag strip. The problem is keep the lakes filled with water.

You will find that one person (business group) is behind all the private lake developments in Arizona. It takes mucho clout with the cities and states in order build a private lake in Arizona and KEEP IT FULL. PM me for the guys name, he is a brilliant man, and runs one of the family owned boat dealers in the valley.

Jim at mastercraft of Az has a nice set up on the lakes he built in buckeye..

The other ones have been filled and they hold awa contest there, but I dont think any house where build, and the lots they sold some have been foreclosed on.

Jim wasn't the primary on those deals. Same as the deal in Chandler.
