okay i think I'm doing something wrong because i skateboard with my right foot back and i can't do it with my left foot back, but when i wakeboard and wakeskate i can can really only ride with my left foot back and not my right. does anybody know whats going on?

i have the same problem. its cuz you were probably taught to ride the opposite way you should. my sister told my brother and i that we HAVE to go right foot forwards. we were all in elementary school then so we did what we were told. now that i've been doing it that way for ten years, its impossible to go back. wakeskating for me is almost a waste of time...it sucks.

im the same way. but now im starting to get good at switch too. i see it as a benefit

Strapped (Snowboard wakeboard)= Regular
Shoes (Wakeskate skateboards) =Goofy

But i do think it helps me ride switch better.......

well when you wakeboard/snowboard your dominant foot is in the back....when your skateboarding your dominant foot is in the front...so if you skate with your right foot forward, then you wakeboard/snowboard with your right foot in the back...so no your not doing anything wrong

there is no right or wrong way, I ride goofy for any board sport.. it's all about what feels most natural

very true, i didnt mean to sound like that is how it works for everyone...i was just saying thats how it works for me and a lot of other people i know...whatevers comfortable
