Don't count out Rusty, he is the defending champion at Reno and if it is rough water condisions again this year my $$$ is on him, besides that he is on fire right now.

"as has been the case for the last few years, if harf stands up, he wins"

But that, I believe, is why they changed it to head-to-head. It's a lot harder to stand up 5 rides than 3.

Rusty for the win.

JOE what do you like better the Sac river or the Delta? Just asking since your new to town?
Old     (nuckledragger)      Join Date: Jun 2004       07-20-2006, 7:34 PM Reply
We will be there. The Reno event is really fun especially the night time madness in the casinos. Watch out for Ben Kaiser in wakeskate, super consistent and usually finds himself riding on Sunday.

Off topic, but.... Anyone remember if they allow dogs on the beach at the Reno stop. I want to bring the pooch.

jeff, i'm not really "new" to sacramento, per se. i lived in norcal for 5 years (2 years in the bay area, 3 years in sac). this is just a return engagement for me.

anyway, i like them both equally. the delta has smooth water, places to eat/gas up on the water, but has crowds. the river has smooth water, less crowd, but no places to eat/gas up.

I think thats what helps keep the crowds down though....HAHA

Joe, I'm going to be there with a few friends and I'm willing to let the DPC guys use my DVX if you're planning on shooting and would like a second camera. If not, I'll be there shooting for practice.
