I've heard a few people mention sanding down molded fins on some boards and I was just wondering what all this takes and the dangers of doing it. I mean just sand them down to the depth you are looking for and roll with it or do you have to do anything to touch them up after? Maybe a silly question but input would be appreciated.

i wouldnt suggest grinding anything down on your board... unless you have a lot of money to throw around on new wakeboards every other week. water will get inside and do damage to the core. i suggest you just dont do it..
