So yesterday was just an epic day for me, and my crew here in St Clod MN. Ill start by saying that none of us smoke or anything, it just so happens that 4/20 was a gorgeous day here, about 74 degrees! And i thought id share the stoke.

My day began with a weird wake up call. Theres a farmer who lives close to me, and all of his cows escaped, so me and my friend and his neighbor had to go herd them all back up into their pens (that got the blood flowin!) It was then that we went and got the good old Sea Ray 180, and we were determined to fix the stereo, since last season we were without music. Long story short we just put a new deck in there, re wired it up, and now it works awesome! we even upgraded from a tape deck to a cd deck Around 1:00 we were on the water. Water temp right now on our lake is about 45 degrees. Ouch. We each took 3 sets throughout the day, 4 riders. I landed a TS 3 first try of the season, In was pumped about that, stoked for this season if i can start that well! I might add that we rode no wetsuits, the cold only hurt the first time, after that it was fine haha

We ended up getting the boat off the water at about 7:30, it was a long day. I was sunburned and hungry. So after that we went to my buddy's house for some volleyball and grilling! and a cocktail or two. hehe

Woke up today, can barely move, my whole body aches, it hurts soooo good!

Hope everyone else had a nice 4/20, It was a GLORIOUS day here, many more to come, thought i'd share!

cheers!

haha yeah, dock starts. Your motivation not to fall, is your first fall, literally so cold it hurts, but after the first one its ok, either from numbness, or nerve damage! haha gonna be a good season !

We have had some epic April weather this year.
Stoked for you! I didn't ride until 7:30 it was still butter!

Are there any good wake shops in St.Cloud? Does the youth shelter have any wake stuff?

Not really good stuff here, I think the youth shelter MIGHT have some wakeskate stuff, but I am not sure. Fitzherris is probably the best place besides scheels, but I dont really like scheels, Bill at Fitzherris is SUPER nice and he knows what hes talking about, but all in all boardshops here are pretty weak

Yeah, I spend a lot of time on the horseshoe chain. You'll have to swing over some time to do some riding!
