I am currently looking for my first wakeboard boat. Boats Im looking for are: 04 avalanche c4, 03 SANTE, sanger v215, and possibly a cyclone c4 although it may be a little smaller than I want. Looking to purchase in the spring but would be willing to put a deposit down sooner for the right boat. I am in Sw Mich and will travel somewhat but would like to find something within a couple hundred miles. My budget is 25k. If anyone is thinking about upgrading this winter and currently own one of these boats please keep me in mind. Thanks

Must haves: pp, ballast( more the better), adjustable wakeplate, tower speakers, and under 600 hours.

You can always add pp, ballast, and speakers. Not sure how hard it is to do adjustable wake plates. At least on the Sangers, I was even looking new and they did not have those at all (they had a fixed plate without a purpose the dealer could articulate).

I could but I would like to buy a boat and not have to instantly invest another 5k. Im sure I will just want to get out and ride.

A little old for my liking trying to stay 2003 or newer. I hear the old x stars have a great hull though.

^^^^ add says this boat has stargazer? Must be an old pic because I don't see it on the dash unless it's mounted elsewhere. I'm sure it has it, why else would it be listed, but also have to wonder if these are older pics of the boat when it was possibly cleaner.

You need to tell us how you are going to use the boat, with how many people and what is important to you? Something like I regularly take 6-8 people out, I don't care about surf wake but want a great wakeboard wake and want a good rough water ride, etc????

Time will be split 50/50 wakeboard and surfing, I dont deal with too much rough water and usually about 6 riding in the boat sometimes 8 on holidays.

The OG Xstar/205v hull as well as the SAN210 hull aren't really known as very good surf boats and will be somewhat cramped with 6 and def. cramped with 8. I would keep an eye out for the SV23 wakesetter VLX hull. It isn't known as a great surf boat either but will have a little more room. The Sanger V215 and Avy are 2 good options although finding a decent one for 25k or less with the things you are talking about is going to be next to impossible. A tige 22v or 21v are options that you can find for that price although they may not have ballast and may have the older crappy tower. Really you are asking for a lot for the price if you want all those features and want something newer than 2003. It is going to be hard to find any SAN, VLX or xstar for 25k or less with those options in 2003 or newer. Maybe a Calabria ProV would work nicely and could be found for that price but chances of finding one in the midwest is not likely.

by the way I would strongly consider the 04 avy or Sanger V215 even if they don't have all those options. They are bigger and roomier than the SAN/205V and good for both surfing and wakeboarding.

The avy is number one on my list just not sure I can get into one with my budget. And the sanger is number 2 but being in Mich I don't see those boats at all. I just read a lot of good things about them.

Dont think I could by a boat without seeing it in person or driving it. The SANTE is sharp though
