2000 Supra Launch

I have a 2000 Supra Launch. I was looking for a new prop and the one that I was looking at was a Keyed prop. I was wondering is this the right set up for my boat? I would just go look, but it is in storage about 45 minutes away, so I thought I would look here first. thanks for the help.

make sure you get the right shaft diameter also

I know that the shaft diameter on my boat is 1 inch and that is what the prop is. just wasnt sure about the keyed part. I am new to inboards, slowly learning. thanks for the help.

A 2000 will run a keyed drive shaft and prop. The key is a small rectangular piece that slides in a small channel that is in the prop and drive shaft to prevent it from slipping.

Some boats run a splinded drive shaft and prop.
You need to make sure the prop is the right size and pitch for your boat. Those numbers will be stamped right into the prop itself. Your owners manual should have a recomendation for a good one otherwise call OJ or ACME to verify if its a good option for you

if run alot of weight acme 1235 prop is the one for u.

the prop that i was looking at is a acme 1229. it is a 13 x 11 with .120 of cup. It is a used prop and is much cheaper than a new one, let me know if yall think that this will work. thanks

What motor is in your Launch and is it a DD or V-Drive?

I am more familiar with OJ, is the 1229 a three blade?

It has a the indmar assault MPI, I believe 330 horsepower. It is also a direct drive and the prop is a three blade.
