We have a 2004 Four Winns Horizon 240 which throws a decent wake but it doesn't compare to a real wakeboard boat. It's still alot of fun to ride behind and im sure the freedom will be about as fun.

Three months ago, I was shopping for a boat also. I was new to wakeboarding and the only boat I had boarded behind was a Four Winns. My wife and I had a great time and decided we would buy a boat ourselves. My wife was motivated by ammenities and comfort features. I was motivated by the wake and the features on the boat related to wakeboarding. We shopped a little bit and ended up buying a Sanger V215. What a difference!
Our friends Four Winns is a fun "Family Runabout", but it doesn't even compare to a true wakeboarding boat. Before you lay down the cash, think about why you're buying the boat, and most importantly, if possible, try to ride behind it yourself.

Good Luck
Mike

We have a 1998 17 foot horizon QX for sale. If you have a lot of weight in it, it throws a nice wake. Email if interested.
