Hey Guys and Girls,

I've been looking to buy a new boat... I check craigslist all the time... My question is, why are there alot of Centurions for sale over any other boat comp. out there?

Thanks!

Kevin

I don't see that at all. At least on my site it seems that used boats on the market correlates pretty well with new boat sales.

Kevin lives in Cali and if I remember right there were a ton of centurion sport bowriders and elite-v's sold in the late 90's early 2000's. I think when the economy was great in that time period everybody and their mom was buying a boat. Now the people who could barely afford them then are having to sell. I look at the sac and SF craigslist all the time and there are a lot of divorce sales and people who just can't afford them anymore. Most people who can afford the real expensive boats like Malibu, MC and Nautique aren't as hurt by the recent housing market in that area. At least that is my theory and I'm sticking to it. Also the reason I will be buying a boat down there and shipping it up to Seattle.

Brett hit the nail on the head Kevin. Capitalize on someone elses misfortune. I know that statement sound rough, but your really helping them out.

Like mine (see profile)? You will love it dude. I got it for the WB scene, but now that I am gravitating to wakesurfing, I am more pumped. Killer surf wake! Good luck on your choice.

I was thinking of selling mine primarily due to the fact that we don't use it much. It has about 60 hours in 3 years. But if the market is that soft, I'll just hang on to it.
