Heya,

My cord has separated and I need to put a new recoil on my binding. I've watched the video at http://ridecwb.com/index.php?mod=ridersupport_detail&tab=0

Where it says to put the screwdriver under the wheel lock, I can't for the life of me get the wheel lock to release from the binding. In the video it looks easy as hell. I'm having no luck. Any secret to this?

Thanks.

Got it! Wasn't putting enough pressure upwards. I was too scared I'd break it.

Whew!

Just get the wraps without the coil. You will be so much happier. Just call and ask em to send them to you!

Yeah, I was planning on doing that this winter. I replaced one last year and I'll be sending them in to have it done. What a pain in the arse it was! Didn't think I'd get it back together!

I took mine to my local shop and they took them to CWB and I had them back with the regular laces in less than a week. Way better IMO

I got mine in the mail and had them changed out in twenty minutes. It is easier the second time.

Shane, could you help me with the replacement wrap install. I just received a pair of the replacement wraps from CWB and I wanted to know if you removed all the screws at once including the wrap and then just replaced it? I'm thinking about removing one screw at a time and then replacing it with one section of the new wrap as I remove one section of the recoil wrap? Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
