Help! somthings wrong with my VLX

ok so today has not been going good. start out the day by finding a a whining sound in my tower speakers. then i went to go put the boat in the water and when i fire it up i blew the heater core. came home and took that out. and as soon as i finally put the boat in the water i have the worst problem in the world. theres an inconsistent knocking sound coming from the engine compartment mostly coming from the trans area. It only does it when the boat is in idle, when it is under power nothing is noticeable. i have no idea what wrong. i checked the shaft and prop and nothing is on them and im completely stumped.

First, sorry about your luck man!

Second, check out the ground on both the engine and the battery side. It may not explain the knocking, but the other two would fit the crime.

happens in idle and all the fluids are good

IMO, you should take it to the dealer and let them check it. It could be something simple, but if it's not, at least they had the chance to find out what it is if it developes into something serious.
