Mostly im looking at the 2010 watson hybrid. however... I was at one of the local shops the other day and they had an 08 lf substance grind for half price. I was wondering if it might be a better idea (although more expensive) to pick up this board and just the normal watson. I plan on going to TSR down here more often and my current board ( 03 lf substance) isn't really made for for the rails out there. My main concern is the warranty problems if im hittin rails on the new hybrid. just lookin for some input. thanks

If you want to slide it, I would definitely get a second board for specifically hitting the cable/rails. LFs warranty does not cover boards that have been slid (even for the Grind base boards). Also you will be used to the way the Substance rides.

In a perfect world I would suggest having your cable board be a flex board with a good base like a SS or the Vibe, they are a lot of fun on rails and let you press like crazy.

Hybrid +10000 this is my primary boat and rail board... I broke my Press and have been shredding the Hybrid (my old boat only board) on both rails and boat for about 2 months and its holding up like a champ... and I'm abusing it big time. No loss of pop from the rails and is super flexy
