Wakeboard Movie???

Just wondering how far off wakeboarding is from having it's own movie. All the other board sports have their movies such as surfing (Blue Crush), snowboarding (Out Cold, i think thats the title), and skateboarding (Dog Boys). I think it would be awesome if someone make a wakeboard movie. How far off do you think wakeboarding is from this level?

There supposedly was one in the works, but had somewhat interesting funding methods. Anyway after the stink it caused here I wouldn't dare mention the name. However someone else might.

Check out "Byerly's Retrospect", it's wakeboard equivalent of "Dogtown and Z-Boys"

I think the name of it was " in the wake of identity" im not sure if you new that already or whatever.

Yeah, retrospect would be waaaayyy better than that other film could EVER be. If a wakeboarding film ever gets made, I'd rather see one get made right, than have some jackass make one and then expect people to be psyched just because it's a wakeboarding film.

there was a wakeboard horror flick. i think it got 2 thumbs-up!

Oh yeah, big wakes of horror? Something like that. And since it's a horror flick, shouldn't the rating be two...thumbs...off..?

I've never seen it, but it's some sort of horror film that stars a bunch of wakeboarders/wakeskater(s). Big wakes of horror...it'll make you want to scream!

Maybe check ebay or something? Or I'd suspect one of the online dealers would have the vid and you could check out a time length and stuff. But as far as I know, it's not like all or nothing...or anything.
