I need a couple of self priming pumps for the drain on a couple of 550# sacs in my V215? What should I be looking at brand wise & volume?

If all they are going to do is drain, why cant you use a couple of aerator style live-well pumps mounted right to the sacs?

Only the impeller pumps will prime, the JABSCO will put out 540 GPH, and the new Johnsons I believe are 740 GPH. On my supra, I drain the bags with Tsunami 800's and it works fine, plus you can run them dry all day long and they wont burn up. $30 for a Tsunami, $200+ for the Jabsco/Johnson.

When people use Impeller pumps, they will use them to fill and drain.
