I'm nearly finished adding the Rival ballast system in my XTi
don't have many pics yet
but here is part of the conversion of the rear center ice chest being converted to a seat. I just need to fiberglass it and cover it with carpet...then make the seat cushion
......so that I can put a ballast bag there without walking on itUpload

I will only be able to get 200lbs in there (once I close it with a seat cushion
but it is positioned almost direcly over the wedge.....
cant wait to finish and test it

I've started the fiberglass process
and have gained much respect for the guys who can do this neatly
can someone tell me how thick I need to coat a board....for strength and waterproofing

the board in the corner has just a thin layer
sure turned out nicer...but to thin?

the rival system, 2 adults and 100lbs worth of 2 kids
plus 1 fat brick
surfin regular side of the XTi
not a bad wake
still gotta dial it in
the drivers side is much nicer....but only 1 of the crew is goofy
