Just curious.....has anyone figured out something for their beloved dog to get on the boat from the swim platform? We have a 1994 Sport Nautique and our dog loves to jump off the teak platform, but cannot get back on it without help. Would be interested in something that you don't have to screw into the platform.

just grab his scruff(aka neck skin) and pull him up on the teak. he'll put his front paws on there already so it's easy. killer boat by the way

That's what we currently do. We are looking for ideas like a ladder or ideas that others have come up with, so we don't have to be next to or on the boat to help him. And thanks for the boat comment!

This looks pretty nice. They mention in can be strapped on to a platform.

Also looks like it would be pretty easy to just make one.

I'm sure he can swim. These will give you the peice of mind that in the deep water he is safer, as well as the handle makes it worth it anyways, front paws up, lift with handle and the back legs plant on the platform and they're up! Easy stuff

Instead of grabbing the scruff, just put our hand on top of their head. Our dogs swim to the platform, put their paws on the platform, and push their head up against my hand which make them pop up on the platform. Works really well.
