07-08 VLX or 23 LSV

I would like some honest opinions from any owners of a newer VLX or 23 LSV how the surf wake is? Can anyone comment on the difference between the two? Any pictures? Has anyone surfed behind both boats, comments. I am looking into a new boat would like to stick with a Malibu. I realize the 247 is insane but too much of a boat for me. Thanks

Thanks Matt, but as that was not the question. I am sure the Mastercraft, Centurion, MB, etc all have massive wakes as well but my question was looking for some feedback on the VLX or LSV wake.

In my experience you can get just about the same wave from both. The VLX will need a little more weight up front.

How do you like the wake on both? Is it a decent wake surf wake? I know the standard everyone compares to is the Enzo, how do you think the wake compares? I surf goofy, is there any issues with the goofy side on the Malibu wake?

I surf goofy on my 2007 LSV and its SWEEEEEEEEEEEEET !!! perfect wake . ft ballast , floor, and rear , and EXTRA 500 on goofy side . HUGE surf wake , wedge on 9 . Get the power wedge !!! will post pics later .

2007 LSV wedge on 9 , stock ballast ft , side , floor, 500 lbs in rear , 11 MPH .
