1. Edge away from the wake 15-20 ft.
2. Stop, relax and flatten the board.
3. Count to 3 before you start approaching the wake (sounds crazy, I know..just do it)
4. At count of 3 begin your approach gently and then progressivley increase your lean and board angle against the boat as you near the wake.
5.At the ramp of the wake stand tall, hips up and use your legs to resist the ramp of the wake...(you suck it up like a girl in your video)..
6. be a man and hang on...you will lanuch smoothly.
7. Welcome to manhood

maybe you should add some wait to your boat. it really would make a difference. for a bigger wake add more to the back, but not so much that the boat wont plain out. if you want a steep wake like a super air than add a little more weight to the front, that is what we did cuz my dad doesnt like us putting to much weight in the boat. we kinda snuck in an extra 500bls in the front.

good luck

Start by keeping your shoulders more upright and square over the board to get into a better position. Wakeboarding is all about line tension and board resistance at the wake, if your shoulders are down you cannot resist or lean away as well. i appreciate in your video that the water is bumpy. You do not suck up to the wake like a girl at all! start a little wider and come in slower. Your position should be like you are perched on a stool, NOT like your sitting in a chair thats too low, and progressively lean away on your heels building the tension in the line. Resist at the wake with your arms in and low, relax on take off and absorb the shock as much as possible on landing.

you will tidy up with ease.
ps. the boat looks under weighted and a bit fast.

good luck

I agree it looks like you're going too fast. There's no clean wake! Slow it down to between 20 and 24 mph. Looks like you could edge a little harder through the wake, but you definitely need to stand tall (straighten your legs) at the wake.

Keeping the rope low and in is good but keep your arms more straight than bent. That might give you a little more control.
