I just put 4 tower speakers up and smoked my amp. I have 2 10's, 4 6x9's, and the 4 6.5's on the tower. I am on a budget which is small and only want to run 2 amps. Any suggestions?

The answer to the subject line would be 3, 1 for towers, 1 for boat, and 1 sub. There are some 4 channels you might be able to use. 2 channels for tower and 2 for subs but you loose control of things that way.

I agree with Bob, 3 minimum.

you could get away with 2, but just make sure the one 4 channel pushing the 4 6x9's, and the 4 6.5s, is something like a zapco 1000.4! But I would suggest running 3 amps like Bob and Jay said!

one monster 4 channel and a one a solid 2 for the subs. But it depends on ohms of the subs

i had the 6x9's and the 6.5 on a larger 4 channel so i dont think it will work. if i go with 3 amps will i need more batteries. right now i have 2. thanks
