I have sirius radio on an 04 SSV I just bought. the tuner is mounted under the footwell. The antenae is mounted on the top of the dash....where mailbu normally puts a 6.5 speaker. I'll try and take a pic.

XM Roady to the Aux input, antenna up on the dash. The antenna should get a permanent installation on my tower this winter.

yes the antenna goes through the dash, the wire off the tuner labeled ANT runs to the antenna.

I don't know how much time you spend in your boats but paying $10/month for something that I only use about 20 hours per month didn't make that much sense to me. That's why I went with the roady so I only pay one service charge to use it in all 4 of my vehicles plus the home. Just something to think about...

That antenna placement works fine unless you have someone in the bow moving around. I put mine up inside the hull by the the bow eye and it works great. It only cuts out if someone is sitting on the bow eye. Since Sirius cuts out way more than XM, it is something to think about.

It's all about antenna placement with the sirius. Have mine mounted to the top of the tower, no problems what so ever. I have the sportster, so one tuner for four vehicles.
