Absolute Vs. Substance

I purchased a Absolute 141 at the begining of last year and it is a great board and all but I don't think it works for me. I wanted to see how other people compared these two boards. I think the absolute is just alittle to slow for me and I don't think the massive three stage rocker works for me. I rode my cousins 136 Substance yesterday and it felt smoother and quicker on edge and the pop felt good, even though it is a big three stage. I was wondering if the speed could be based on the fact that the board was two small for me and was edging good because it was deeper in the water. Any feedback between these two boards would be great. Also do you think the 138 or the 142 substanec would be better for me, I am about 5'11 170-175 ish

Get last years 141.5, the red one off of ebay for around $225 shipped. I just got mine on friday and have already got 6 sets in. Love it! Sold my 04 prodigy and never been happier. I am 6' about 175.

And it will look PHAT with your red ultras

I kind of like the 04 better.

Substance is awesome
get one, very fast and responsive. I like the center fin, it gives just enough hold so that you arnt completely locked in.

I'd recommend the 138 for you. You could ride either, but the 138 will fit you well.
