I own a prostar 190 i have greased all the the places to grease and i still have stiffness in steering. it makes a crackling sound at the steering wheel its self any suggestions. thnks

Replace the cable........

It's easy to do yourself. Your symptons indicate that it could go any day now.............. not fun!

Try www.skidim.com they should have the right cable in stock?

Your cable is probably cracked,and sitting in a low spot in water.It's rusted,that's why it won't turn.The crackling you hear could be the grease you pumped in there.No biggie ,just air pockets.Replace that thing ASAP.
