Slingshot transition plate working backwards?

I ride a slingshot 07 recoil and I love it (the board). I also ride the driver boot which i dont love so much. I do love my liquid force shane bindings though. i saw on boarders best buy today the driver boot with the transition plate. i know the said plate is to put the drivers on a standard bolt pattern board. does anybody think the plate could work backwards with some slight modifications to put standard bolt pattern bindings onto the slingshot 4 hole pattern board? thanks for reading and the help

If you were handy I dont see why you couldnt drill 4 holes through the LF proplate, but then you couldnt get the plate to the boot once the plate was on the board.

It would take tearing out the guts of the boot, making the proplate holes to the boot so you could attach from the reverse, then then drill new holes to get it onto the board.

I would just get some 08 SS boots, I use to have the Shanes, LOVED THEM, got the drivers, didnt like them, got the D2, just about as awesome as the shane.

I agree, the 08 boots are amazing. Huge improvement from 07. The 09 boots coming out are ever more comfortable and have much better graphics.

Dont newer bindings have some sort of adaptor plate for SS boards? And dont SS boards have the standard holes on them, or is that only newer ones? Ignore me if I am wrong.
