03 premier vs 06 premier

Has any ridden both boards and can tell me any major differences in the boards?

Actually went from the 03 DNA to an 06 when my 03 cracked. Honestly, I loved my old board, nice and mellow, but would really move when you wanted it to, the 06 is just plain fast, and has alot of pop. The rocker on the 06 is more agressive, at least IMO, and the board just flys, I't a great board, but when I rode it for the first time I couldn't do much of anything with it, could be because I was riding finless without the jib ribs, so it was ultra fast, or I was out of practice, but i was gettin booted, but couldn't land much of anything, now I ride it pretty well.

Main differences to me are that the 06 is much faster than the 03, and the pop is more abrupt. Granted this is just my opinion, I'm sure other guys will have there $.02 as well. And if you have an 03 premier 135 DNA that you're not riding anymore, I'll take it off your hands . . .

I broke my 03 premier a couple of weeks ago. I didn't even think about riding another board. I went right to Ebay and bought another 03 Premier. I think it is the best shape board ever made. The one I had before was biolite and the new one is DNA. I was surprised how much higher in the water the DNA board rides. It rocks. BCP Mike

I will be going from a 144 parks to a 140 premier do you think i will have problems with me weighting 230 pounds?

ive been riding the 03 too. love the board. i dont much like the looks of the era though thats why im still on the old stick.

I broke my old Premier shape and it was replaced with the new shape. I did not like the changes at all to the board. I switched it out to a 3DS and have been much happier.

I ride it finless and like I said before the 03 Premier is the best shape ever. It will help you edge properly and ride technically correct. Buy one off E bay I got a DNA for 150 bucks. Later, Mike
