How much are they if I pick them up, and you don't have to deliver them?

If you live in the Sacramento Area let Gary and I know and we can get them up to you. I go down to the delta area twice a week. He can let you know how much to get them to Sac?

I am interested too! I have the same question as Peter, is there a price difference if we pick them up compared to the website price of delivering them?

like.. a duffel bag would work nicely.. think about it. handles, canvas construction, moldable.. the possibilities are endless. not trying to dog anyones game but seriously.. lead shot is cheap as piss.. get creative and its a damn good idea. obviously the only thing is that you have to carry the dead weight around all day instead of being able to pump it out.. but for "$375 for 400lbs" holy friggin crap.. you do realize thats no more than MAYBE $50 if THAT in lead shot.. take the $325 you spend and fill your gas tanks for the next month.. puh-leeze...

Jungle, please explain where you can find 400lbs of lead shot for $50. I haven't seen it less than $1/pd.

I tried to find lead shot and couldn't even find it in any of the local shops. All the new shotgun shot is steel for enviromental reasons. If you can find 400lbs for $5 let me know where I will pay for the shipping. Email me at jon4pres@gmail.com THanks

Obviously someone that has not seen or used pop bags. Anyone that I know that has actually used them, wants nothing but. You can make your own tower, install your own stereo, paint your own car, blah, blah, blah. Doesn't mean it's the same quality as a pros work But go ahead, and make your own. Most of us will gladly pay for this extremly high quality product

I think that a SEALED bag for lead is a great idea! I also like the idea of the bag being more "formable" and not a brick that concentrates its weight in one area. Dont forget your time too junglesmacks, time is money. If I spent the time to build and make 10 sets of 40lb bags I would probably be down a lot more than simply staying at work a little later and leveraging my most efficient resources.

I agree that time is money but I really enjoy spending my time on these projects as I think many others do. Besides I get the same salary if I am there 35 hrs or 80 hrs a week.

I've never bought from them, but have known Jody for years. First class salesman, who is a straight shooter. I can only assume the rest of the staff is the same.

hey.. actually i did a little checking and you are right about the lead shot deal.. they changed to steel for environment.. the best way to get lead is in bulk.. you can buy it by the bar.. we have a local dive shop that buys it for making dive weights, and its around $0.25 a lb.. you can buy it either in scrap melted chunk form or by the bar.. either way its just a suggestion. also i was thinking.. sandbags.. sand is nice and free AND heavy... anyway.. just a thought.. like i said.. not trying to salt anyones game. peas

I've used sandbags, homemade, industrial, and ones made for wakeboard ballast. All of them that I used sucked compared to Pop Bags. Absolutely not for me.

I like the idea of those Pop Bags but do agree that they seem a little expensive for weight. That is almost a dollar a pound. By no means am I saying that you wont sell them,I think you will. As far as I go, I will stick to ballast bags, more weight for the dollar, drawback is the take up tons of room. Good luck with the Pop Bags....glad to see someone think outside of the box for a change.

I went to Sportsman's Warehouse yesterday and lead shot for reloading was $21/25lb, almost $1/lb. So these pop bags are a good deal as they're ready to go.
