I'm trying to nail a decent looking raley. I could use some good tips. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you land one yet? What is happening when you try? Some tips...1-Take a long progressive edge, like you would for a back roll into the flats. 2-Always look at the boat. 3-Pull that handle down to your front knee to get that board back under you.

Point 2 is important "always look at the boat"

I found that you have to be willing to get lots of speed, let your board get tripped at the top of the wake, keep your eyes on the tower, when you feel the handle pull you in mid air, pull the handle toward your hip and get your feet under you.

All these tips are good, but try a different kind of cut. Make sure it is progessive, but instead of keeping your knees real bent, and body down low, stay up! Stand up on your cut so that your hips are right into the handle.
Give it a good pelvic thrust. If you have ever windsurfed, its like gettin into the harness, thurst your hips up and keep them forward.
When I was learning raleys, this helped me a TON! My raleys used to be about 2 feet off the water, and everynow and then catching my edge, now I can float them out no problem.
Try practicing cutting out on your heels beside the boat with your hips up, just so you can get the feel for it. It feels wacked, but try it!
