Hey everyone. I am looking into getting a ski. What do you guys ride and what is a really good reliable jet ski to buy?

anyone have a yamaha vx110 deluxe? I'm thinking of getting one this year to pull around the lake by my house - what sort of gph are you getting pulling a skater with it?

i just did a pwc project where we picked up a 94 sea doo gtx with a blown motor. we then contacted SBT and got hooked up with a brand new motor with a 1 year unconditional warranty. then we got the guys at jet trendz to do the install and now the thing runs like a brand new ski. it still looks ruff, but for 2 grand and a warranty, who cares.

My experience of SeaDoo has been pretty horrible.. I'd avoid the 2 strokes. Cna't comment on the newer doo 4 strokes though.

People seem to rave about the Yam's for reliability.

sea-doo 4 strokes. they are super reliable with plenty of power to pull you up. Although newbs with more weight may put some good strain on it. as they would with any i'm sure. Right now I'm riding behind my family's 06 wake edition and it'll pop me up n maintain speed easily. plus a nice lil inside out ramp and good lip for lip tricks.

Very good experience with 4 stroke Sea-Doo's, specifically the RXT

+1 Roddyrod, I have an RXP and RXT, both 4 stroke supercharged pwc's and they are unbelievable. I previously had 2 GTX 2 strokes those were very reliable as well. But the new sea doos are fast as shiat, quiet, and very reliable, I am in love with ours i would highly recommend them. They are cheaper then the GTX but the GTX's are more luxurious. The new high end gtx has on board navi! kinda lame.

Bought a Yamahammer VX 110 Deluxe this spring. Best investment we've ever made in wakeboarding/wakeskating. Economical to use, reliable, plent of power to pull a 200+ rider. I'd also recommend purchasing the dock edge spot-n-tow. You can set the ski up like the Sea Doo Wake Edition for at least 3-4k less.
