We have a 2003 Malibu wakesetter VLX with perfect pass. It has worked great for us but is starting to become unreliable.
It seemed that before, maybe 1-2 times a year, when we were really loaded down it wouldnt hold right by fluctuating 3-4 mph in each direction. Now it seems to do it almost every time we use it even with stock ballast, no wedge and just a few people in the boat. It still holds great for surfing at 10 mph, but not for wake boarding at 21mph.
Is there something i need to do to maintain it. Does it need replacing?
