Which wakeboarding boats have snapout carpet, and what year did they start doing it?

Centurion does I thnk they started with the Elite V/Air warrior Elite V/Huricane/Lightning around 1999 or so. The Avalanche, Lighning, Typhoon, Cyclone and all the Enzo's have always had Snap out carpet

My '05 Mobius LSV has sanp out carpet in the cockpit and bow. It was an option and I think it has been since at least 2003.

I am just curious... how do you folks like the snap out carpet idea for boats. Back in 99 I test drove the Elite V that had one and I noticed that the air would get under it in the bow area while I was planing and cause it to flap around. For me personally that was kind of annoying so I did not buy the boat but are there other advantages to having a snap carpet system that I am not aware of?

I like the snap out carpet for cleaning and haven't had any flapping issues in the 2 boats that had it. The only negatives I have had is that I did find that over time some of the snaps in the fiberglass would come out and the carpet would change size/shape slightly really requiring you to stretch the carpet to get it snapped back in.

Having had both, snap out is the way to go IMO. To be honest, I do not know why more boats didn't do it sooner.

Yeah, Cleaning. I have never heard of it flaping around. Maybe that boat had a defect.

I love the snap out carpet in our boat. It works great for clean-up. Drying is way quicker if you hang it over a fence, and if you need to move anything to an island or are concerned about the carpet getting tore up for some strange reason you just snap it out and go on about your business. Ours does not flap either.

our 2007 Mobius LSV doesn't have snap-out carpet and I don't remember seeing the option.

My 2000, 2001, 2003 2004, 2005 and 2007 Centurion all had snap out carpet front and back LOVE it Get it wet hang it over the line. If it get stinky take it out of the boat and shampoo or pressure wash it hang it over the line. If it gets trashed replace it.
Never heard a flap of any kind and I spend a lot of my time barefooting

I only put the carpet in for special occasions. After I put it in I take it out, hose it off, and hang it on a saw horse to dry. The floor in my Lightning has a diamond texture, so it's not slippery with out it.

I think the worst thing to put in a boat is carpet. What put carpet under the front seats, clamp shell, and V-drive lockers, all a bad idea. Carpet holds water grows funky stuff that smells bad. Inner spaces in boats should be covered in something like Rhino Liner.
