boats were ok to beach, 3 of us put on the snorkel gear and inspected the spot for the boats beforehand, all clay no rocks and stones. Pulled out the few that were in the area. More pics to come from my trip. Fisheye Films crew was doing all the photos, so as soon as i get them, ill share some.

If you want to beach your boat at Shasta three stakes, along with plenty of springy anchor line type rope, and an old tire work GREAT!

What is the water temp?

Shasta ROCKS!

Nice Pics...You picked a great time to go and a great time to leave. Friday night when I got to my cabin it was fairly windy. Saturday afternoon was windy and Sunday all day from 6AM until 4PM when I left it was windy.

Oh Shasta! Always an awesome experience, clean and clear water, beautiful sunsets, plenty of glass. I have to wait till the 2nd week of July to get my yearly allotment of the good life.

Your pictures make me jealous though! :-)

Shane - Was that your wake in the surfing pictures? and are you using stock ballast? I'm in the market for a new boat and looking hard at the Mobious LSV. I'll have to look into that topless chick option.

Sean,
Was it more or less crowded then when you have been there in the past? We are going in 1 month. Actually some of the crew I ride with went down the same week as you.
Old     (shane97210)      Join Date: Jan 2007       06-19-2007, 2:01 PM Reply
It was Sean's first time, but i have been going since i was a little kid. Weekend seemed less crowded, and midweek was normal. I'm going through withdrawls and not looking forward to 60degree water temp today on the Willamette.

Sean/shane,
You guys ride on the upper Willamette around the Canby Ferry. It seems as though I have seen your boat out there. If we ride there go behind a Black Wakesetter with a carbon tower w/ integrated speakers. Just curious.

Skiing made me board,
Lyle

lyle we do not ride in that area, we pretty much stick to the lower willamette, occasionally i will hit the upper willamette but i head up river from charbonneau when i do
