Liquid Force Vantage binding, thoughts?

I was looking at Liquid Force's board and binding lineup for 08 and the vantage binding keeps catching my eye, mainly because of the three huge velcro straps. I'm just wondering peoples thoughts about the binding, has anyone tried them yet. Can you get them tight enough?

I was the same way.........then went in and tried a pair on, and loved them! They felt very snug, and cushy! Obviously easy in and out, as well as "on the go" adjustments..........

Just got them, and haven't hit the water yet, so as far as long term, the jury's still out. I'm sure LF will back them as far as the whole velcro vs. water thang......

I tried them on also and they are great....have a pair on order! They were easy to get into and adjust and were some of the most comfortable bindings I've put my feet in. Hopefully the velcro will hold up in the long run tho like Rik said...

After Buffalo pointed out Kevin Henshaw's pic in the recent Standerd issue, I am pretty sure those are the flexiest bindings this year!

i am another guy who has tried them on but hasn't ridden them. i will also say that they are the most comfortable boot i have ever tried on.

I wouldnt worry about the velcro getting messed up. It is 3M's highest grade velcro. It's rated at 3000 pulls. That means if you adjust each strap 10 times each day on the lake you get 300 days on the water. That's a lot of days.

The velcro wont loosen up after you tighten it and it will hold you exactly how you want it. Good heel to toe support for edge response, but soft enough side to side to to lay down the nastiest melon.
