Post over on mymastercraft.com

The guy that runs the board over there represents a dealer, and should be able to help you. Those problems seems pretty minor, but on a new boat, i would be mad too.

It would make more sense -- and be a lot more fair -- to talk to the dealer before posting here about problems.

That would be called working the bugs out and yes all brands have problems as such. Now it is a test of the dealer to take care of them so they are a non issue.

im with jeff take it to the dealer first and let them handle it ..if they dont take care of you fairly and in a timely manor then you might have a problem and can take proper action...

yes some newer boats do have some kinks to work out, unfortunatly it is pretty normal these days..

Those are minor things...and all brands of boats, have minor problems that come up from time to time.

FYI - This isn't even Michael's boat. He's just asking a general question.

Regarding the impact of being 15:

When I was 15 I believed that things in the world should be right, perfect, and fair. I also beleived if you spent a LOT of money on something, it ought to be 100% RIGHT to begin with without exception!

Unfortunately, I am no longer 15, or even double that, and I have discovered that the world is full of imperfection and compromise, and things aren't always what they OUGHT to be. I can tell you that the world of inboard boat dealers has taught me a LOT about lowering my expectations.

That said, I think explaining why things ARE the way they ARE can be helpful, rather than dismissing someone's question solely based on their age...

yea what he said! Oh yea and i also liked the comparison Michael did to the I/O that strirred everyone up :-) :-) , now if someone was complaining about an I/O it would have been a whole different story....
