Just found out I'm going to Albuquergue for the summer. Is there ANY wakeboarding there? I'm looking in WB mag and the stat for NM is "Lakes and rivers make up just .002 percent of New Mexico's surface area - the lowest water-to-land ratio of all 50 states." Please...someone...anyone...tell me they're wrong and you ride around Albuquerque all the time.

I don't know about around Albuquerque, but i usually ride at Ute Lake, it is kind of by Tucumcari if that helps, but i think that is like 3 hours away from you though

Elephant Butte Lake by Truth or Consequences, about half way between Alb and Las Cruces.

I'm going to be in Cimarron all summer. I think the closest lake is Eagles Nest, but its been about 5 years since i've been out there so i'm not sure if there is any riding going on.
