Sorry I don't have the originals. He posted a picture of the boat with the linear actuators on it for a brief minute. I cropped them out and asked him about them. He then removed the picture and asked me to do the same. He was talking about taking it to market at the time. But haven't heard anything and that was quite a while ago, so here's the cropped photo:

I strongly considered doing this same thing on my Skylon tower. I did all the math and determined that the actuator would see forces in excess of 3400lbs with Skylon Rubicons up there. For about 2 weeks I played with all the angles trying to get the Math to work out. The reality turned out to be, if I had any significant weight on the tower, it'd be too much for the actuator.
This probably explains why he went to hydraulic.
