Unemployment map

Not sure if this has been posted before, but I just received this link from my dad. It's pretty interesting. Just open the link and click play. The map will show a chronological depiction of how the unemployment rate has increased across the country since 2007.

Yep. It looks pretty dismal. Now, couple that information with what you hear on the news today. I imagine, it looked pretty much the same in the great depression.
