OUCH! Sorry Tim. Get well soon.

Sorry to hear about that Tim. Hope you get better soon. At least soon enough to come back and ride with us next summer. Derich's definitely getting an '04 SANTE. His new neighbor is buying his MC.

Holy crap! That sucks, Tim. How did you fall to cause that? I guess the really important question is: Did you ever land the crow or were you still trying to nail your first one? I sure hope you already got it down and don't have to wait a year to try again. I'll throw you the customary "get better soon" but man, I bet that's going to take a while to heal.

So did they have to just cut the binding off your foot?

Damn Tim,

I am sorry to hear that. Get well soon!!!

ouch... that sucks, sorry to hear it.

I do like the fact that you have buddies that are looking out for you best interest by snaping pics while you are in pain! Now if those aren't true frinds! :-)

Hoping for a fast recovery! Good luck!

Dude, that looks painful. How did you land to make that happen? Good luck on a fast recovery.

Chris,
yes binding was cut off my foot. new pieces are on the way and then I'll likely sell them.

Tony,
We would have had a lot more guresome photos had my camera been on the boat rather than in the truck. after "call an ambulance" "my leg is broken" "take the binding off the board" and "get me on the swim platform" it was "Where is the camera!"

Jeff,
how I did it? working on a scarecrow. ride left foot forward. right foot came out (front foot on landing) and left foot stayed in. somehow I either twisted or folded and it happened.

Hey Tim,

Take care of yourself and if you are ever coming to So. California please give me a call, there will always be a boat waiting to tow ya here.

Get well soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. Beware of carpal tunnel syndrome. You don't want to incur any more injuries during your down time.

Hey Tim,

You could really tweak out some stalefish grabs with that angle in your leg!

Damn, that wasn't very funny, why am I still laughing!?!

Get your butt down here as soon as you can. If we need to come get you, so be it!

Yikes! Sorry to hear about your injury and that must have hurt like hell.

That will take a while to heal completely. My buddy broke his tibia last year and it really took a while until he was back 100%. So make sure you take it easy and take your calcium supplements! Actually a really good multi-mineral supplement is probably better than just calcium. And if you smoke, stop until the leg is healed.

Good luck with your recovery.

damn Tim! I knew we shoulda taken you up on all hte offers u threw down for us to come board with you!!! hope u feel better soon...at least you have a cool story to tell how you broke your leg, not like a "slip in the grocery store broken leg story!"

oh and why u r down and need some stuff to do, u can check out the pictures on my website in my 'gallery'..enjoy,,, www.angisimpson.com
and don't forget to watch Judge Judy! she always makes the time fly by!

feel better..

oh and Tim, u can also keep busy by watching all these videos we do...go to www.420Production.com and go to "videos" and check out puppy love,,,make sure the volume is on! its a hoot and so is 'WASTED'...and "off the water"...good stuff! enjoy
Old     (timmy)      Join Date: Jul 2001       08-15-2003, 2:01 PM Reply
angi, you should assume that I keep up on those videos! :-)

David, yes, it is dry in the boat, say, until you fall off the dock getting in the boat, or the boat sinks, or ocean gets you wet after swim swim, or shane spills his beer. Right now I can not get it wet cause the skin is healing. and I want to walk ASAP so I am not taking any chances.
Old    chase            08-15-2003, 2:43 PM Reply
He didn't consider the Ocean factor!

By the way, Tim, your leg will eventually heal but I have to live with this forever!

me

Now I don't want to see this pic circulating the Model Mags or anything like that! And no, I won't pose for Playgirl, so don't ask!

Hope this makes you feel better cause it's embarassing as hell!
Old    boozcruz33            08-15-2003, 3:24 PM Reply
That is one ugly mug!!!

Tim, keep in mind that I do my best not to spill any beer! The real reason that you can't come on the boat is that it is too easy to fall into the water. Trust me... I have done it...
Old    chase            08-15-2003, 3:37 PM Reply
I don't see a mug in that beautiful picture! What are you reffering to?

I was just talking to someone else about both bindings needing to be very snug and they were saying how it was rider preference (not that yours werent) but it is something that would happen alot more if people rode with "not so snug bindings".
Get well soon and land the crow, dont let it keep the man down
