I would like to clear up the discussion on the warranties. Tige' offers standard on all models except the R20, three year bow to stern parts and labor. 5 years on the touch screen 3 years parts and labor and 2 years parts only. 5 year hull gelcoat blister warranty. Life plus replacement warranty on the hull this replaces your boat in the case of a strucural hull failure and it is transferable to the second owner for a repair warranty.

And in additon we are the only company that offers 360 Service plus as standard on your purchase this includes all oil changes, transmission fluid and 2 impellers for the first three years. This is defined as any required service to keep warranty current and active and there is no limit on the hours, this could have value in the several thousands of dollars depending on the usage of your boat.

I wrote the Tige warranies after studying all of the other manufactures warranties and can confidently state Tige' offers the most secure hassel free ownership experiance in the industry.

If you have any questions feel free to call me at the factory.

It's been 84 here all week, but my boat is sold, so I can't use it. The damn thing's just sitting in my driveway, mocking me, waiting to be picked up by the new owner in ten days.

As an aside - isn't it awesome that a representative associated with a manufacturer will come on here and take the time to chime in (in a positive and constructive manner) on a topic like this?

While I'd submit that the "hassle" factor of warranty work often is attributable to the local dealer, and not the manufacturer, it is good to know that a manufacturer stands behind its products. A long time ago, I purchased an XStar from the original owner. The boat was out of warranty, and I experienced a significant mechanical failure. Several of my friends had the same boat, and also had a similar issue that MC had covered for them under their original factory warranty. After explaining my situation to MC's warranty department, MC took my boat in and fixed it on its dime. This was eight years ago, but I'm still appreciative. The moral of the story, I guess, is that it's definitely a benefit to own a boat manufactured by a company that values its reputation in the warranty context.

That is REAL Sharp looking on the water.Great shots Dave.Looks like you had some ballast in it by the way the swim platform is sitting.

That's just the stock ballast. I was actually so impressed with the wake with just the stock ballast, that I carried 1,200 worth of Pop Bags from the dock back to my garage so I could play with the wake a little more with just the stock ballast. Still playing with it. Taps adds another level of complexity, but also a lot more flexibility.

For those of you that would like to see the stock ballast wakes of the Z3. Go to the wakesurfing section where Robert Garcia took a video of all different aspects of wakeboard and surf wakes. The title is Finally Got the Z3 Home.
