I have a serious monkey on my back with these things....If I just huck it and try not to pass the handle I land it solid, just to sink and wait in the 60 degree water for another pull....When I go for the handle pass I get off axis and just blow up when I hit the water. I make a serious effort to pull the rope to my hip, and I do, but I get off axis. Someone help me.

Dude that same exact thing is happening to me. It seriously sucks. try edging through the wake and concentrate on getting as much air as possible then if its a good jump go for the pass. Aleast thats waht everyone is telling me. Unfortunately I have like no wake so I cant get any air at all. Good luck, I know I'll need it.

hey its the same problem most people have when they first start to spin. Yoy should start by getting a good jump just as you would for a normal wake to wake. They once your in the air yoy should pull the rope in to your rear hip (frontside 360) with both hands...then let go with your lead hand and go for the pass. Be sure to pull with both hands.

It sounds like your spinning off the wake with your body. Yoy want to go off the wake completely and then pull the handle for the spin.

Good luck
Todd

don't forget to pass the handle in the small of your back, keeping the handle close to your body the whole time

n it's not the first spin move I am learning. I can wrap heelside KGB.....it's the pass that's messing me up. Even toeside 3's with a handle pass I can land.......but it's a different angle and the spin is in the direction of the boat. I dunno....I'll rip one on wed. and see what happens....I know I don't spin off the wake cause I don't start my rotaion till I am at the peak of my air.....(late spinner). But thanks for the advice.
