Just looking for input on anybody that has sold a boat using their service. I received a call from one of their reps but have never heard of them. Please let me know if you have any input.

You can also try www.onlyinboards.com. A few others have sold through the site.

I have my boat listed with them. They just got me an offer on it. Below what I wanted but they do work.

I considered using them, but I would not use them for domestic. They agreed to but allow me to market the boat on boat trader, onlyinboards, and a few craigslist. If I sold it from one of those sites, they got no money. They add 10% to the price of your boat, which means it will likely be overpriced by 10%. They claim most of their sales are to overseas buyers. In the end, I did not list with them. My boat sold in less than 30 days, and about 97% of my asking price.

Thanks for the info guys. I don't think I am going to use them for now. I don't like increasing the asking price at this point.

I sold two boats using onlyinboards.com and believe that people in the market for tournament boats know where to look. I even had people from surrounding states responding to my ad.

It may be an isolated incident but I tried responding to two different ads off of POP and they didn't get back with me for over a week on both ads (there wasn't any contact info in the ads other than the standard email response). IMO I would go with OI.......the success or failure of your sale rests with you and only you.

BTW both of my boats on OI were reasonably priced and sold in less than a week for full asking price.

List your boat in the major craigslist in your area. I am in Raleigh NC, and my boat was found through a Washington DC listing. I got the most requests through craigslist, then onlyinboards. I received nothing from boat trader and that site is super expensive. My boat sold in under a month.
