i'll definitely agree with that. it took me about 3 half days of riding to be able to figure the board out and ride it. i'm still not that good, but think i have figured out the board and it should only go up from here. the control on the board is so sick and it is feather light - which will probably make future airs easier.

Neither of my shred stixx boards are shiny.

my elevation isn't glossy either. texture of a surfboard. my Custom Elevation also doesn't say "Custom Elevation" on it, just says "Elevation". but then again, i have the old traction on mine like duffy has, so maybe they started glossing them and adding the "Custom" part after mine was shaped.

that being said, i can't say i'm a fan of the new traction or the shiny finish. is that finish slippery? it looks like it would be.

my board and traction looks identical to Duffy's, only mine is white. Shreddstix mentioned that mine would come with the new traction set when I was ordering it back in February - i'm glad it didn't though, because i like the older style better.

those look like 325 or 340 rear fins , do they work the best or should Joey change to the 375

Board was awesome, took about 20-30 minutes to get pretty comfortable on it. Still have a ways to go before I can really call it my biatch haha, but its a great board, really liked it. Will be switching fins soon tho, I feel like it needs a little more release. Is that what you guys have been finding? Or maybe a snappy-er fin?
