today certainly was a good day for me. i headed into my local shop and tried on the cells, scout and one. they were all pretty comfortable and looked good too. i dont know why but the scouts look much better in person than in pictures.. i do think i like the ronix ones or the scouts, and we will find out which one i choose next week.

one question though: should my toes just graze the closed toes like snowboard boots?

Yes, It feels better riding when my toes do just touch the end of the binding.

From what ive herd is yes. I just bit the bullet for some Cell's and i can't believe how comfy they are. The heat forming sole is great. Probably the best, light weight, and comfortable boots ive worn. And yes my toe grazes the very tip (big toe that is). Good luck with your decision!

I bought the cells... i sized them like snowboard boots, that being, my toes are touching and pushing a bit on the liner. the liners will "pack" out as you ride them more and if you are barely touching the end with your big toe, it might be too big and loose in 20-30 sets. I got mine a little too tight and now after 1 1/2 months of riding, they fit perfect.
