Hi everyone, I just moved to Phoenix not even a month ago from Minnesota. I've read all the threads and know where the good lakes are and all that, just looking for cool people to hang out with on the lake and show me around the area as well. My board is still in Minnesota cuz I didn't have room for it...I know it should have been the first thing I packed but I had limited space. Anyways I'm not very good at all because I worked like every weekend in MN and the weather there sucks so I didn't get to get out on the lake much, but now I'm here and I don't work weekends anymore and I'm ready to be on the lake whenever I can.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Jon

Arizona wakeboard association has a contest coming up. You will meet alot of the local riders there. Make sure you hook up with the Taylors, they ride more than anybody I know and they don't even have a boat! THAT my friends is dedication.....and good friends!

Jon - Just in case you are interested. I sent this out to the AWA distribution list on Wed. It is a good way to meet some local riders and try a new set up.

CWB Board Company invites you to a free demo at Two Cow Cove Thursday and Friday the 23rd and 24th of June. Southwest rep Steve Bates will be on hand with all the boards, boots, surfers, and some sneak peek 2006 gear including Trevor Hansen's new deck, the Marius. Local rippers Larry Taylor and Ben Losch will also be on hand for some riding tips. The demo's will run from 9AM until 6PM and will be pulled behind a 2005 X-Star. The booking will be done on a first come first served basis. RSVP to Steve Bates at stevebates2@yahoo.com or 661_312_5226. Twenty riders per day is the maximum allotment. Please don't try to ride both days, as we want to give everyone a chance. You may also bring your own boat and take a product to demo. We will provide everything you need but suggest bringing your own vest as sometimes we don't have all the sizes covered.

We then encourage you to return on Saturday for the best wakeboarding the Southwest has to offer. MasterCraft of Arizona and Valley Ride shop deliver stop #3 of the Arizona Wakeboard Associationšs 2005 wake series. See you there!
