I have been thinking that the "intelli-gel"/ "gellycomb" stuff would be great as a foot-bed material. you know the stuff that is in Jan Sport bag handles/straps? and the stuff in the fancy relief/therapeutic mattresses?

The stuff is apparently very durable and reacts well to individual pressure points! i've tried some of the fancy mattresses (in a store), and it is quite an amazing feeling really.

I am thinking this stuff would be great as a Layer along with EVA and or other materials. Of course a denser honeycomb (than what is pictured bellow) would be necessary because there will be more pressure and force per square inch ya know.
